Brembo is the legendary name in performance brake systems, as used by Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedes, Subaru, Mitsubishi and other top manufacturers.

Brembo products have been co-engineered with leading OE developers such as AMG, Alpina, Saleen, Ford Racing and Toyota Racing Development.

Brembo Sport is the true High Performance Disc program, designed to replace the OE disc in terms of performance whilst retaining the original disc dimensions. All the discs are manufactured in High Carbon Steel (High Carbon steel discs are quieter and have a higher friction coefficient than conventional steel discs) and are produced in Brembos own foundries in Bergamo, Italy.

Features are as follows:
-Brake pads with constant friction coefficient in all conditions, even the toughest.
-Drilling/Slotting constantly \'revives\' the friction material with a microshaving effect.
-Drilling/Slotting prevents the formation of a film of water on the disc surface in the -event of wet conditions.

Manufactured using premium disc blanks mentioned above, the narrower multi slot design of the Ultimax sport rotor and the progressive angle at which the slots are machined creates a quiet running sport rotor that still has benefits of removing gas, dirt, water and debris and MAINTAINING parallel pad wear. EBC have always been honest enough to say that the biggest advantage of slotted rotors is the fact that they promote flat and parallel pad wear rather than allowing ridges to develop on pads and rotors which is typical of "drilled only" sport rotors. By preventing these ridges brakes stay more consistent throughout pad and rotor wear life (simple physics!).

3. EBC TGD Sport Rotors

Manufactured using premium disc blanks mentioned above, the unique wide aperture slots in the EBC sport rotor actually draw cool air under the pad during heavy braking and reduce brake temperatures whilst also helping remove dirt, dust and debris and gasses created by heavy braking from the pad contact area. They also improve braking in off road conditions of wet, mud or sand and as such are a great choice for 4x4 vehicles. Blind drilled holes eliminate the chance of rotor cracking which is common with “through drilled” or completely drilled vent holes.

EBC Turbo Groove and Spotty Discs are directional “LEFT and RIGHT” which is nearside and offside of your vehicle. The spotted pattern and the sweeping grooves should be pointing to the rear of the vehicle.
 

 

 

Most vehicles are fitted with reinforced rubber brake lines, which are fine as far as they go but wil flex or "balloon" under heavy braking, more so as they age. When this happens the fluid pressure applied to your brake calipers decreases, by varying amounts depending on the circumstances.

Goodridge brake lines steel use a flexible neoprene inner tube to maintain flexibilty, however this inner tubing is then sheathed in a special woven steel material that mantains flexibilty but keeps it's diameter constant, preventing any "ballooning" no matter what the pedal pressure.

By fitting braided steel lines such as these, all the fluid pressure when braking is now applied directly to the caliper pistons, resulting in better braking and more pedal "feel".

Stainless steel brake lines improve pedal feel and reduce the amount of time between applied pedal pressure and actual deceleration by preventing expansion, which stock rubber flex lines allow. High performance street pads provide you with higher resistance to fade, higher maximum operating temperature, and better initial bite to allow consistent deep braking into corners. Motul RBF600 brake fluid increases both wet and dry boiling points and prevents boiling even under the most severe operating conditions. Good for street and autocross. Not for extended track sessions.

For extended track sessions, or if you are running out of heat capacity with your current stock sized upgrade and/or having to replace pads and rotors often, you may want to consider investing in the added heat capacity that a Big Brake Kit offers.

StopTech stainless steel brake lines improve pedal feel and reduce the amount of time between applied pedal pressure and actual deceleration by preventing expansion, which stock rubber flex lines allow. This provides a quicker pedal response, and allows the driver to maintain consistent brake pressure and precision brake modulation.

StopTech brake lines consist of a Teflon® inner line that is covered with a layer of stainless steel woven braid. The Teflon tube is very resistant to expansion under pressure and will not degrade from exposure to brake fluid. The stainless steel braid provides support for the Teflon and the weave is extremely durable against incidental impact and abrasion. StopTech brake lines feature a Clear Abrasion Resistant Cover for maximum protection against chaffing.

All StopTech Stainless Steel Brake Lines are DOT (United States Department of Transportation) compliant and 100% tested to a pressure of 4500 psi.
