Just had a CSL style airbox fitted to my E46 M3 and I have to say I am delighted. Power up from 330 to 364, torque increased everywhere and a real increase in the sharpness of the throttle response. The noise is fantastic - sounds stock at cruising speed but under full load it sounds amazing. Alpha N can be tricky but I have a rock steady idle and a smoother than ever driving experience. The service from AL tuning was fantastic, my car was picked up, I was kept up to date on progress, and it was even valeted on collection. I cannot recommend this conversion by AL enough.

It has indeed been quite a journey!

First with the Eisenmann Exhaust getting lost in the wilderness, and then the wheel offset issue, and finally the CEL which was diagnosed to be from a faulty fuel tank sensor thankfully!

Well, I am happy to announce that the beast has been finally and successfully put together.. and is running great!

Actually, that is an understatement, and I can't keep calm abut this anymore!

THE M5 IS A FRIGIN ROCKET NOW!!!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH PERFORMANCE IT HAS!!!!

First of all, I would like to send out my utmost gratitude to Roy at CA Auto for standing up with me through everything and putting things right when others were slacking off! The guy is outstanding! It's such a shame I did not get to meet him on my visit to the UK as he was very busy else where in the country!

But I did meet some amazing people who are his partners and colleagues and I must admit.... I was impressed with their professionalism and workmanship!

Hi Mike,

Just wanted to give you my impressions on the Stage 2 Re-Map you put on my car.

As you know I couldn't really let loose with the car for the first 400 miles while I was breaking in the new clutch. I then had two consecutive track days; timing runs at Bruntingthorpe and then a full day at Oulton Park.

I could immediately tell the difference. The car feels more urgent and 'alive'. Clearly more responsive throughout the rev range and consequently much easier to adjust your line with the throttle when on track. Considering all the mods already on the car, it previously felt like it was lacking something. Now it feels like a complete package. Strong on the brakes, flat through the turns, sharp on the throttle with the power to pull the (stock) Porsches down the straights. Not bad for a 4 door saloon! The S62 is quite a lazy engine by nature, but the new software really livens things up. On the road when I'm just cruising I now find I don't have to drop a gear as frequently as I used to.

Cant wait to get the cams, race cats, manifolds, and the live re-map!

Hi  Roy,

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I’m very pleased with the work carried out on my BMW Z4M. The sound from the installation of the CSL style Carbon fibre airbox and Eisenmann Exhaust and not forgetting the Live mapping is amazing. I have to say it even sounds even better than the M3 CSL and is noticeable quicker. The quick shift, strut bar and CSL wheels greatly improves the handling.

I have attached a few picture of the engine bay and rear of the car. Once again Thank you for your professionalism and honesty about power gains quoted for my cars’ conversion. I look forward to my next set of mods (Schrick Cams & pulley kit).

Hi Mike,

 "After fitting a carbon fibre air box to my E46 M3, I delivered the car to AL Tuning for an Alpha N remap. Immediately it was apparent when talking to Mike, that not only did they know what they were talking about, but they also took great pride in their work.

I race cars as part of my living. I own a 670bhp track car, so my expectations for my daily driven M3 may be higher than most when it comes to tuning, but AL Tuning certainly didn't disappoint. Spending a great deal of time perfecting the map, and keeping me in the loop the whole way through the process.

I was so happy with the first remap, that I revisited them after fitting some Kelleners sports cams. This time my E46 M3 left AL Tuning with 369bhp, and again perfect drivability.

The power figured we got before AL Tuning worked their magic was a dismal 310bhp, which I'm lead to believe is quite a normal power figure despite the quoted 342bhp by BMW. It is now without a doubt a genuine CSL killer, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Mike and the AL Tuning team.
